I come from a family of amateur and professional artists and grew up surrounded by beautiful, original works. Throughout school, I was encouraged by caring teachers to explore art in many forms -- photography, drawing, painting, pottery, digital art.

I am fascinated by the techniques and possibilities of fluid art. I love the natural tendencies of the paint to  flow into unexpected compositions. I have combined my newest acrylic pours with overpainting -- "embellishments" -- turning fluid art backgrounds into the visual stories.

Much of my work is inspired by clouds and waves, forest and caves. Often, I will create an original short poem or story to accompany the work. The melding of multiple art forms challenges and excites me.
